Application
Many thanks for your interest in MaREPol. Here you can find all the information about the application process. Depending on your nationality and the country in which you received your undergraduate degree, there are different ways to apply. Applicants who received their Bachelor's degree in Germany follow the application procedure via the Studierendensekretariat. Please attach the self-disclosure and the examination task to your CV. Applicants who received their Bachelor's degree outside of Germany follow the application procedure via the International Office of the TU Dortmund University.
Please note that there is a semester contribution of approximately €300 per semester, which includes various services such as the public transport ticket ('Deutschlandticket'). Apart from this, there are no tuition fees in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. This also applies to international students. While the university still offers various support services, you should also have certain self-organization skills.
You can begin your studies in the winter or summer term, although the usual start is in winter. Cross-semester admission is also possible. Click here for more details on the start, end, and other semester dates. To apply successfully, please read the information below carefully.
